Other Parks: Log Jammer to close at Magic Mountain
In a long rumored and yet surprising announcement, the classic log ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain will be closing today.
The good news is that you can expect yet another roller coaster in its place within a couple of years.

Other Parks: Paramount Studios Park
Paramount announced a new theme park in Spain. Here you will be able to experience attractions from films like Star Trek, Rango, and Titanic. So far it looks like a mix of Disney and Universal, I cannot wait to experience it.

California Adventure: Mater's Junkyard Jamboree Testing Phase
Vertical construction on Cars Land is getting close to the end, which means vehicle testing has begun. First thing caught on tape was Mater's Junkyard Jamboree.
Mater's Junkyard Jamboree:
This attraction will be a new take on a classic "whip ride", where guests will be driven around Mater's Junkyard by Mini-Tractors, while Mater the Tow truck strikes up the music.

Tip of the Week: Oktoberfest at Disneyland?

Well, not quite. But if you're looking for more than just a typical hot dog and are in the Oktoberfest spirit, head over to Disneyland's Troubadour Tavern where you can satisfy your brat and saurkruat craving. Located near the entrance of the Fantasyland Theater and not listed on the park map, they also offer corn on the cob and a few baked potato options.

Disney Parks: Disney's CEO Robert Iger to step down in 2015

Walt Disney Co.has signed a new contract with its chief executive Robert Iger for five more years while at the same time laying the groundwork for a succession plan at the top of the entertainment conglomerate.
