Disneyland Resort: New Bar at the Disneyland Hotel

The Trader Sam's Tiki Bar is now open at the Disneyland Hotel.  For those that do not know, Trader Sam is the last character that you see while riding the Jungle Cruise. With the famous spiel being, "Trader Sam has a special going on right now, two of his heads for one of yours".

I have been known to have a drink or two when visiting the Disneyland Resort and it is nice to see that a nicely themed bar has opened up at the Disneyland Hotel. Be sure to take a special side trip the next time you are the resort.

Disneyland Resort: Soundsational Summer has Begun

Today, Disneyland's Soundsational Summer promotion has begun.

The new Soundsational parade is now going on at Disneyland and if you are lucky you might be able to experience the Little Mermaid and Star Tours attractions going through its soft opening phase. (LM and ST open on June 3rd)

Disneyland Resort: The Walls are Down

The Disneyland Resort is just 2 weeks away from its biggest summer ever.

At California Adventure you have the Little Mermaid Attraction and an update to the World of Color show. At Disneyland you have the update to Star Tours and a brand new parade called Soundsational.

With it being so close to opening, the construction walls have come down and you can now fully see the outside details in two of the resorts latest attractions.

Disneyland: Star Tours 2 Commercial

Here is the commercial for the new Star Tours experience. Keep in mind that this commercial if for the Walt Disney World version, but I expect the Disneyland version to be similar.

Disneyland: Blackbeard Ahoy

Blackbeard will take over the waterfall scene at the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction on May 20th. Take heed Davy Jones fans, the evil octopus will return to Disneyland later this year.

Disneyland News: Star Tours 2 Poster revealed

The attraction poster above has made an appearance in the tunnels of the Main Street train station. An update for this attraction has been a long time coming and some of the interesting details in this poster have me excited.

Disneyland: Short Day at Disneyland this Saturday 5/7

The Disneyland Park hours will be changing for this Saturday 5/7 (7am to 5pm). This is due to the movie premier of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. However, not all is lost, you will also be able to see the people involved in the movie as they walk the red carpet and California Adventure will be extending its hours to 11pm.
